Exploring her world.....OUTSIDE!

Keith and I purchased a swingset off Craigslist a few weeks ago and it seriously has been a GODSEND! Avery loves swinging the hours away outside.....and especially loves to crawl through the tubes and platforms on the swingset structure. She just recently discovered that she can look through the holes in the swingset and see through to the other side. She is so cute, peeking her head through the holes to catch a glimpse of whoever is on the other side.......It makes me laugh out loud to see her face light up when tries to reach for me......Money well spent!

This is usually all I can see when I am sitting on the ground, pushing Avery in her swing. How the heck does a baby that only eats a diet primarily consisting of veggies and fruit, get this much pudge on her legs? Don't you just want to eat it??? hee hee. I LOVE IT!!!!

Ode to my daddy.....

Avery adores her daddy. And the feeling is definitely mutual! Here are some pics from our recent adventures at Charlotte Beach, the Lilac Festival and then just a few cute ones of Avery exploring her world (and looking so darn cute doing it!!!).

10 month photos and milestones....

After many requests......here are some 10 month pics of my little chooch. I can't even believe that Keith and I are starting to plan for her first birthday festivities. Where the heck does all the time go? Some milestones......she is crawling and pulling herself up on all the furniture, she's weighing in at 21.5 lbs. nowadays- wearing 18 month clothing (preemie, what????), she is eating an assortment of foods now (favorites- meatballs, ravioli, fruit cups, peas, lentils), she has 4 teeth now (2 top, 2 bottom), she says an assortment of 2 syllabel words together (ma-ba-da), she LOVES to swing on her swingset, she thinks that banging the back of her head on her highchair is hysterical and she HATES driving in the car for more than 18 minutes (I've timed it....we're in BIG trouble as we have a 5 hour drive ahead of us in August.....oh dear!!!! I better think of something!!!). She's getting big, and I'm getting sad :( My baby is turning into a little girl in front of my eyes. I can't believe how fast it happens........
